Insurance and Billing

We file insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients. However, please be aware that you are responsible for any co-payment, coinsurance or deductible amounts at the time of service.

Please understand that your insurance is a contractual agreement between you and the insurance company. Therefore, it is your responsibility to understand your coverage and exceptions to your policy. Due to this relationship, you are ultimately responsible for your bill.

Confidentiality of Your Medical Records

All medical records and any information given to our staff will remain confidential. No information will be released unless written authorization from you is received.

Workers Compensation

As a hernia specialist, Dr. Grachev specializes in hernia consults and treatments. He takes pride in successful outcomes and low recurrence rates. Our office understands worker's compensation and appreciate the importance of seeing your employees quickly and return them safely back to work. Our practice ensures that once the case manager contacts our office, we will see your employee within 24-48 hours. A quick note and treatment plan will be generated that same day. 

 

Dr. Grachev uses the latest techniques and materials for repair of hernias including synthetic and biological meshes. He is skilled in tissure-only hernia repairs , including the Shouldice, McVay an d Bassini techniques.
